The printing factory tells you the pre printing process for cardboard boxes
The main methods of preprinting include gravure preprinting and flexographic preprinting, among which gravure preprinting is the main method. It involves printing on a roll of paper first, and then collecting it into a roll of paper after printing. The printed roll of paper is then used as cardboard box surface paper to make corrugated cardboard boxes, and then cut into boxes. Compared with traditional craftsmanship, it has low cost, high efficiency, low scrap rate, and is easy to produce and manage. Recently, 30% of the total production of corrugated cardboard boxes in developed countries such as Europe and America adopts pre printing technology. The use of roll paper pre printing to produce high-end colored corrugated cardboard boxes will become the development trend of the future packaging industry, especially high-end cardboard box printing.
Pre printing is carried out directly on a smooth paper surface, avoiding damage to the strength of the cardboard box caused by direct printing. The forming quality is high, and the roll paper printing method is used to achieve non-stop paper replacement, which is suitable for the production of high-quality and large-scale products. The pre printed pattern is used for cardboard production on the corrugated production line. When cutting, the factor of the pattern should be considered. Therefore, a photoelectric tracking cross cutting control system should be installed on the cross cutting knife to accurately cut the cardboard at the boundary of the pattern.
To adjust the high-speed production of preprint, higher requirements have been put forward for the corresponding printing and packaging materials, which require the paper to have high edge compression strength and durability, as well as good smoothness to achieve good printability. At the same time, pre printing ink also requires the ability to withstand high temperatures in the drying process without discoloration, and has good properties of heat resistance and friction resistance.
