How to Adjust the Fixing Component [China Buke Printing Factory]
The fixing unit in electrostatic digital printers plays a crucial role in determining the quality of imaging, necessitating careful adjustment. The adjustment of the fixing unit includes setting the fixing temperature, regulating the pressure between the pressure roller and the transfer roller, and maintaining the cleanliness of the paper feed roller.
(1) Adjustment of Fixing Temperature. The Nexpress system features one fixing roller and one pressure roller, each controlled by two independent fixing lamps to regulate their temperatures. Typically, the fixing roller operates at a higher temperature to ensure the toner is fully fixed onto the substrate, while the pressure roller maintains a relatively lower temperature. The Nexpress system includes dedicated temperature gauges to calibrate the fixing temperatures of these two rollers, ensuring stable and consistent fixing performance.
(2) Adjustment of the pressure between the rubber rollers. The adjustment of the pressure between the fixing roller and the pressure roller is related to the thickness of the paper. A small amount of silicone oil needs to be added during the fixing process to complete it. When the pressure on both sides of the rubber roller is severely uneven, minor adjustments can be made to ensure the uniform addition of silicone oil
(3) Adjustment of the cleaning paper transfer rollers. There are two cleaning paper transfer rollers corresponding to the fixing roller and pressure roller, respectively, used to remove oil stains and toner residue left on the rollers. During production, these two cleaning paper transfer rollers need to be monitored. If their cleaning effectiveness declines, adjustment or replacement is required.
