紙張勻度是指紙張纖維分佈的均勻程度。勻度好的紙張其外在質量、物理和光學性能均較良好,對於非塗料紙而言,其印刷效果也較好一些。

通常,紙張勻度是通過目測比較而得,無具體數據。一般將紙張對著均勻的光線觀察,通過觀察者的感覺來判斷勻度的差情況。

如要得出具體紙張勻度數據,則可通過三種儀器觀測確定,這三種儀器分別是STFI勻度儀、QNSM勻度儀和MK公司的三維紙頁結構分析儀,其中以三維紙頁結構分析儀應用較為廣泛。
