Techniques for Text Arrangement in Book Printing
1. Both ends are aligned
The length of the text from left to right is uniform, and the character group forms a square and upright face, appearing upright, rigorous, and beautiful (Figure 3-9).
2. Right or left alignment
Left or right alignment is a way to naturally form a clear vertical line at the beginning or end of a line, which is easy to match with graphics. Zuo Qi is suitable for people's reading habits and creates a sense of familiarity. Right Qi feels novel, stylish, and forward thinking.
3 centered arrangement
The arrangement around the center of the page as the axis can focus the gaze and give an elegant and dignified feeling. But it is not very convenient to read. If it is a full page arrangement of the main text, this method should not be used.
4. Tilt
Tilting refers to tilting the entire text to give the layout a strong sense of dynamism.
5. Along the shape
Following the shape is the arrangement of text along the outline of a certain shape, with ups and downs, giving people a lively and dynamic visual experience.
6. Conformance
Conformance is a way of arranging text to fit within a certain shape, giving a sense of novelty to the layout.
7. Interweaving
Interweaving originally plain text and images, this embellishment effect makes the layout lively, giving people a warm and vivid feeling.
8. Highlight the prefix
Enlarge and decorate the first number or letter of the main text, embed it at the beginning of the paragraph, bring a striking focus to the layout, break the dull pattern, and liven up the page.
9. Free arrangement
Break the constraints and complete the free arrangement. But be careful to prevent clutter and maintain the integrity of the layout.
10. Special effects
The text creates various special visual effects that are suitable for the content, giving people a strong infectious power such as dreamlike allusions, brightness, and fog.
