1. Sweeping gold

A process between hot stamping and gold printing, characterized by fast speed, low cost, and the ability to achieve ideal results regardless of the thickness or size of the graphics and text. 2. Holographic hot stamping

Laser hologram is created using spatial frequency encoding based on the principle of laser interference. Due to the vibrant colors, distinct layers, vivid and realistic images, diverse optical transformation effects, and high information and technological content of laser holograms.

Therefore, it began to be used in the field of anti-counterfeiting in the 1980s. The OVD technology has been significantly different from the widely used HOLOGRAM hologram, and some holograms have machine recognition capabilities.

The mechanism of holographic hot stamping is to heat and melt the hot melt adhesive layer and separation layer on the holographic hot stamping material through a heated hot stamping die on the hot stamping equipment. Under a certain pressure, the holographic grating stripes on the information layer of the hot stamping material are separated from the PET substrate, so that the aluminum foil information layer is bonded to the hot stamping surface and integrated into one, achieving perfect bonding.

There are three types of holographic hot stamping: regular holographic random stamping; Specialized holographic image hot stamping; Specialized holographic positioning hot stamping.

The third specialized holographic positioning hot stamping has frequently appeared on high-end cigarette packs in the past two years. It refers to accurately hot stamping the hologram of a specific part of the holographic anti-counterfeiting hot stamping electroplated aluminum onto a specific position on the cigarette pack through photoelectric recognition on the hot stamping equipment.

The holographic positioning hot stamping technology is very difficult. It not only requires printing factories to equip high-performance and high-precision specialized positioning hot stamping equipment, but also requires high-quality specialized positioning hot stamping electroplated aluminum. The production process also needs to be strictly controlled to produce qualified cigarette pack products.

Due to its high anti-counterfeiting performance, positioning hot stamping marks are commonly used in occasions such as banknotes and important documents.

3. Soft paper embossing and positioning ironing

Due to the popularity of soft packaging for high-end cigarettes, the previously mature and luxurious post-processing techniques on white cardboard have also been transferred to soft paper.

This process involves hot stamping and embossing in one step, resulting in a product with full hot stamping, fine graphics and text, beautiful appearance, and no embossing or skewing.

But this process technology is difficult, with particularly high precision requirements for hot stamping plates, holographic films, and hot stamping machines, and strict operating indicators for all aspects. Because of this, it is difficult to imitate and has a high degree of anti-counterfeiting.
