這種統一性主要表現在平面設計中視覺符號的結構形式方面在人類社會發展過程中,各種視覺符號一經約定俗成,就進入了穩定的時期。為了保證社會生活的正常和社會秩序的穩定,在一定的範圍內,人們認可個特定的符號體系,並保證在較長時間內維護這個體系的有序性。

這種統一性主要表現在平面設計中視覺符號的結構形式方面在人類社會發展過程中,各種視覺符號一經約定俗成,就進入了穩定的時期。為了保證社會生活的正常和社會秩序的穩定,在一定的範圍內,人們認可個特定的符號體系,並保證在較長時間內維護這個體系的有序性。

著社會的不斷發展和新事物、新現象的不斷涌現,原有的視覺符號體系便不能表達出人們需要表達的各種意義。當原有的視覺符號體系在內部和外在結構兩個方面都不能適應新形勢的要求時,人們就必然要求對原有的視覺符號進行修正、改造,賦予原視覺符號以新意,甚至創造出一個全新的視覺符號,造成視覺符號體系的變動。
