What are the main methods of repetitive anti-counterfeiting design? [Buke printing]
Repetitive pattern features, color repetition, material repetition, odor repetition, etc
(1) Repetition of pattern features, using the similarity between the characteristics of certain elements in the packaging (or label) pattern and the characteristics of elements in the standard storage pattern to distinguish authenticity. The repetition of packaging pattern element features mainly includes: pattern size repetition, pattern shape repetition, symbol (logo) repetition, orientation (position) repetition, etc
① Repetition of pattern size, also known as size repetition, is the simplest and most intuitive form of repetition. The more complex the pattern, the harder it is to imitate
② The pattern shape is repeated. The smaller the pattern, the less repetitive its shape, making it more difficult to fabricate. Therefore, shape duplication prevention is commonly used in small and complex patterns
③ Symbol (logo) repetition refers to the repetition of one or several symbols or logos in a pattern. Symbols or logos can be registered trademark symbols, corporate image logo symbols, or a part of a pattern. In actual anti-counterfeiting packaging design, one symbol can be selected as the repetition feature, or a combination of several symbols can be selected as the repetition feature. Moreover, it is more difficult to replicate small symbols
④ Repetition of orientation (position), using a certain feature on the packaging (such as logo, pattern, symbol, etc.) to carry out anti-counterfeiting design in a specific position throughout the packaging or in a certain part of the packaging. The repeated orientation (position) in anti-counterfeiting packaging requires high-precision printing and post press processing equipment to cooperate with each other, which has high technical difficulty, so the anti-counterfeiting performance is good
(2) Repetitive pattern colors. Pattern color repetition includes fixed color repetition and variable color repetition.
① Fixed color repetition. Fixed color repetition refers to the color in the packaging pattern being consistent with the color in the horizontal sample, and not changing with external factors. Due to the fact that color includes hue, brightness, and saturation, fixed color repetition also includes repetition in these three aspects
② Variable color repetition. Variable color repetition refers to the change in hue, brightness, and saturation of colors in packaging patterns due to external factors, but under the same conditions, it is consistent with the color change of the stored sample
(3) Duplicate material. Compare the special materials (including usage methods, orientation, size, and shape) used in the entire or partial packaging with the sample to distinguish authenticity
(4) The odor is repetitive. Using the special odor applied to the packaging (inside or on the surface of the material) as a comparative feature, the authenticity is identified by comparing the degree of repetition of the special odor with the sample. The authenticity is determined by comparing the deformation of the packaging as a whole or locally under stress with the amount of the sample under the same conditions
