紙張的酸鹼度對印刷的影響

由於在造紙制漿過程中的加工工藝和處理方式不同,如施膠的材料、填料的性質和色料的成分等的差異,其結果使所製成的紙張,要麽呈酸性,要麽呈鹼性。用來表示紙張所具有兩種屬性的強烈程度,就稱為紙張的酸鹼度。

紙張的酸鹼度對印跡的乾燥速度,對潤濕液的用量控制,以及對於紙張的耐久性能等都有較大的關系


(1)酸性紙酸性紙能夠抑制印跡的乾燥。酸性越強,印跡的乾燥速度就越慢。根據實驗所測得的數字為例,當紙張的pH值從5.5降低到4.4時,其乾燥速度要減慢三倍。


(2)鹼性紙鹼性紙一般被認為能夠加速印跡的乾燥,不過這僅僅是對酸性紙而言。若鹼性太強,如pH值高於9時,紙張本身的鹼性物不斷地被傳送到潤濕液中,不但影響了對藥液中pH值的控制,而且往往促使油量產生乳化現象,易造成浮臟


(3)印刷中對紙張酸鹼度的要求為:膠印用紙,希望是中性紙的,即pH值約在7左右,或者略帶鹼性。
