① If a book has 32 pages, 2 or more printed sheets, and uses copperplate paper with a weight of 157g/m2 or more to print the content and 250g/m2 or more to print the cover, the binding of the book must be designed as lockstithing.
② It is best to use four fold bookbinding thread for paper below 79g/m2, three fold bookbinding thread for paper below 80128g/m2, bookbinding thread after cover for paper between 209-157gm2, and no more than two fold bookbinding thread for paper above 5gm2.
③ Lockthread glue bound books do not require milling the back, so the outer cutting size should be the size of the lockthread glue bound outer cutting=(finished product size width one plate center size width) 2.
④ For products that require thread locking, the small thread should be placed outside the large thread to facilitate the separation of the book thread and the use of a thread locking machine for thread locking.
⑤ It is best to ensure a flap of 6-10mm. If the paper is not large enough, you need to switch to air suction for page stitching and locking. The opening of the cover must be consistent, such as using large or small sizes for the opening uniformly.
⑥ During typesetting or production, folding marks should be set on the outer folds of the top and back of the book to facilitate checking for excessive, insufficient, and incorrect pasting.
