聯想性的會意是人們通過若乾組合後的具體形象進行聯想,以便間接地把握所指稱的對象,並體會其中的意義

聯想性的會意的特點是,對象及其意義雖然也在一定的形象之中,但人們不能直接“視而知之”,需要通過聯想之後才能體會到。這種攝取、存儲和傳播信息的方式是以象形為前提,將有關形象在頭腦中連接成一個整體的視覺符號生成方式。
