模切壓力是由活動的下平臺向上移動與固定的上平臺壓合而產生的。在模切過程中,主要受到以下幾方面的阻力。

模切壓力是由活動的下平臺向上移動與固定的上平台壓合而產生的。在模切過程中,主要受到以下幾方面的阻力。


(1)模切鋼刀切入紙板時受到的阻力,紙板越厚越硬,對鋼刀的阻力越大。


(2)模切版上鋼刀的兩側需要安裝膠條,其目的是使模切完成後紙板能及時從鋼刀上彈出,脫離鋼刀。紙板越厚,將紙板從鋼刀彈出所需的力就越大,安裝的膠條要求更硬一些,才有足夠的彈力。當鋼刀切入紙板時膠條受擠壓產生阻力,阻力的大小和膠條的硬度、版面上膠條的總長度以及膠條的寬度有關。


(3)模切過程中,鋼線要配合壓痕線使紙板產生塑性變形。紙板越厚、越硬,加載過程中鋼線對紙板塑性壓痕時受到的阻力也就越大。



(4)模切鋼刀切透紙板,壓在平臺上,平臺對鋼刀
所產生的阻力。



剋服上述幾方面的阻力
,使紙板切斷並壓出痕跡所需要的力,即模切所需的壓力。在調節模切壓力之前,
需要先估計所需的壓力,以便調節調壓機構到適當的位置。
